1. Switching the Monitor Mode:

Place the earphones back into the charging case. Once the charging indicator lights up, triple-click (3x) the button located on the left side of the case to toggle between modes:

Bluetooth Mode: Blue light
2.4G Monitoring Mode: White light

2. Re-pairing the Monitor:

Ensure the Monitor is in 2.4G Monitoring Mode (White light). First, clear or delete the existing pairing record on the Receiver to allow it to enter pairing search mode. Then, with the earphones placed inside the charging case, long-press the button on the left side of the case until the indicator flashes to automatically initiate and complete the pairing.

In the same scenario, when using the four transmitters and one receiver function, it is recommended to use no more than 2 sets at the same time.

In the four transmitters and one receiver version, after mixing, the RX output volume will increase, so it is necessary to adjust the RX output knob appropriately to lower the RX output volume and avoid distortion.

The phone RX or camera version RX, as well as the monitoring headphones, must all be upgraded to the latest version, otherwise pairing issues may occur.

When receiving the microphone, first check if the insulation film on the microphone has been removed.
Before charging, check if the battery level of the microphone charging case is sufficient.
Before charging, check if the contacts on the bottom of the charging case, transmitter, and receiver are dirty or covered.

The reason cause of howling produced by a wireless microphone is the feedback loop of the sound, that is, after the microphone picks up the sound from the Speaker, the signal is repeatedly amplified to form a closed loop. The following are the specific reasons and corresponding solutions:

Improper position of microphone and speaker
1. Reason: The microphone is too close to the speaker (monitor headset) or the mic points directly at the speaker, causing the sound to be repeatedly picked up and amplified.
2. Solution: Adjust the position of the microphone and speaker to avoid the two being too close.

Gain (volume) set too high
1. Cause: The microphone sensitivity is set too high, causing the signal to be over-amplified, triggering feedback.
2. Solution: appropriate to reduce the microphone gain, TX gain small.

When the MIC lock is turned on, you can't do any operation on the mic.

The recommended Settings will provide reference camera Input (Record level) and Output (Audio level) value according to different camera brands and models, then you need to set it on camera manually.

When connecting a lavalier microphone via the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, the adapter's 3.5mm jack provides a 3V plug-in power (bias voltage) to the microphone.

Note: This function is only compatible with lavalier microphones that follow the TRS standard, where the Tip and Ringare used for the microphone signal and the Sleeve serves as the ground.

The Lark Max 2 delivers fully isolated left and right channel audio that meets all technical specifications. This issue is typically caused by some cameras applying a high default audio gain, which can amplify the minimal timecode crosstalk in the left channel to an audible level.

We recommend manually lowering the audio input gain on your camera to an appropriate level.

The Lark Max 2 is currently incompatible with the Insta360 X5. The issue is caused by a mismatch in audio bit depth between the devices. We advise against using these two products together for recording.

The TX needs to restart to sync the new system setting. Here's how to update it:

Power off your TX device .
Power it on and let it reconnect to the Camera RX.
The internal recording will now use the updated bit depth.
