1. Use 2 microphones and switch to stereo mode (blue light), so the volume of a single microphone will not change.

Since the sound from both microphones will be mixed and output simultaneously to the left and right channels, the volume will increase by6dB. You can reduce the volume by one notch on the receiver (for example, adjusting the volume output when connecting to the camera version RX using an Android phone).
